UK new car sales up in June

 New car registrations in the UK rose for the 11th straight month in June, up about 25% from the same month last year.

This is evidenced by preliminary data released on Wednesday by the Society of Automobile Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). The final data will be published at 8.00 GMT.
