Chinese regulator approves Morgan Stanley's application to open a futures company

Morgan Stanley is awaiting approval to set up a futures company in China after the application is approved by the CSRC regulator, according to Reuters. JPMorgan Chase & Co has already owned a futures company in China since 2020, and Morgan Stanley could become the second foreign bank to be granted full ownership of a futures business in China if the application is approved.
