Futures for WTI oil fell during the Asian session

During the Asian session on Friday, futures prices for WTI oil declined.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, WTI crude futures for July delivery traded at $70.42 a barrel, down 0.28% at the time of this comment.
The lowest price during the session was a dollar per barrel. WTI found support at $66.80 and resistance at $70.96.
Futures on the USD index, which reflects the ratio of the US dollar to a basket of six major currencies, rose 0.13% and traded at $101.85.
