Richard Branson's Virgin Orbit files for bankruptcy

Virgin Orbit, Richard Branson's company, has filed for bankruptcy due to lack of funding. The company also announced its intention to complete the effective sale of its assets. As of September 30, the company had $243 million in assets and $153.5 million in debt. At the end of March, the company laid off about 675 employees, about 85% of the workforce.
