Musk is ready to abandon the fight with Zuckerberg in favor of the debate

Elon Musk said over the weekend that he would likely need to undergo surgery before his cage match against Mark Zuckerberg, and observers see a likely withdrawal from the fight behind his words, writes Business Insider.

There's every chance that Musk will accept his mother May Musk's offer to "fight with words only." However, if his fight with Zuckerberg does go ahead, it will be the most viewed spectacle as it will be streamed live on his X platform, formerly known as Twitter (NYSE:TWTR).

The suggestion for a verbal duel comes from Elon Musk's mother, May Musk, who tweeted in June that her son and Mark Zuckerberg should only fight verbally and not hit each other.
